Christmas Break Projects - We have some time over the Christmas break to get a few cleaning and painting projects done here at the church! If you have some time you would like to donate for painting - please contact the church office.

Gym Carpet

Maybe you did not notice, but the gym carpet was getting pretty dirty over the past 12 months. If you did notice, check it out this Sunday! Paul Evanson and Steve Danduarand spent a bunch of time making it look like new (almost new - that is!) again! Tell them thanks next time you see them!

Boiler Repairs

During start up on the building heating system this year it became obvious that major repairs were required. Due to leaks caused by corrosion - we are retubing boiler #1.

This photo shows Chad inside boiler #1 removing scale build up. The good news is that the new tubes we are installing should last 30+ years!

Exterior Signage - Step 1

It's a small step, but we have added some informational/directional signage to the exterior of the building. As you will now notice, the six parking stalls along the building are now reserved for our guests. "Guests" in this case would be people joining us for the first time. Keep watching - more signs are coming!

Time to find our sign!

Can you believe we have been in here a year and still don't have a sign in the front yard! Wow! The good news is we are making progress. We are currently waiting on proofs for the first of 6 sign projects (including the front lawn.) In there effort to completely paint the doors, summer hires Kyle and Sam seem to have painted outside the lines once again. Something tells me they don't mind.

2nd Fan coming for Sunday!

Summer is in full swing and the gym is hot for worship services!

The good news is that relief is on the way. We have a second fan due to arrive in time for this Sunday. The combination of the two fans should do a better job of evenly moving the air for all the seating area.

Plus, we are still working on a quote for adding ceiling fans!

2007 Summer Help

Summer is here! Thankfully - so is the summer help! Grace Life Church summer help includes; Sam Oglesby, Jordana Beens, Neil Citrowske, Kyle Adams, and Zach Dandurand. We are blessed to have them on board and getting things done around here! I am sure you will notice the contributions they make to the property over the next few months! - Welcome Summer Staff!

MACS - Sunshine Award

Congratulations, Chad! - GLC building & grounds staff member Chad B. received the coveted Marshall Area Christian School Sunshine Award for being the person who best represents the heart of a servant. Even though Chad is not a employee of the school, his many selfless acts of service for the school won him this recognition. It is quite an honor for Chad! We can all agree that he truly deserved this award!

Summer Job?

Grace Life Church is looking for a couple of people to assist us with summer projects! Work includes (but, is not limited to!) lawn care, landscaping, painting, and project cleaning. Currently we have 2 positions planned for the summer months. The pay is $6.50 per hour and the hours are flexible. Our expectation is that each person could put in 20 - 35 hours per week.

Whitney St. Stop Light

The city has informed us that they are considering the removal of the Whitney St. / College Dr. intersection stop light. If you have any thoughts or comments regarding this proposed stop light removal please contact the church office. Thank you!

NEW TENANT AT GLC!

Southwest Adult Basic Education (ABE) - Marshall Region is joining us as our newest Joint User at Grace Life Church. ABE will use classroom 112 starting in March and running until the end of April 2007 to teach a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class. Classes are planned for week day mornings. These courses are specifically for people who speak English as a second language.

Please join us in welcoming ABE to our building!

Need a room?

There is a lot of activities going on within our new facility at any given time. In an effort to help coordinate activities and avoid double booking, please follow these simple steps.

1. Figure out the day(s), time, and duration of your activity.

2. Figure out what kind of room and what type of set up you need.

3. Contact the Church Administrator to find out if the room is available and what additional infromation might be needed.

There are many behind the scenes things that need to happen to ensure this works smoothly for all concerned. Everything from room set up to programming the room to heat during the times it will be occupied.

Fresh Paint in Nursery

The awning is done! Thank you to Brad at the Sign Shop for all of your hard work on this beauty! Hopefully, people can find the right entrance a little easier now!

Restroom Signs

Finally! No more guessing if it is door #1, door #2, or door #3! The restroom signs have arrived and will be installed today. Thank you all for your continued patience as we improve the facility!
